- I love radio, music-based broadcasting and audio production, and have extended experience in program production, and transmission operations. Currently, I volunteer at community station Triple R in a lot of different roles: music dept., social media, web archiving and presenting. For cash money, I work as a broadcast operator at SBS Radio, a multilingual national broadcaster.
- I voraciously consume music, and the main creative outlet for this passion (as I particularly suck at making music) is broadcasting on Triple R – where I get to share my knowledge and new finds with an appreciative audience. Less frequently, I update a blog (tumblr) with some of my favourite finds and playlists.
- I am a gigantic nerd, as my constant redesigns of this here web portfolio will attest. Specifically, I am really keen on digital futures for music, audio and radio: how these existing media will present on the web in new ways. HTML5 Audio excites me, and it should excite you too (if you like music/radio/audio). Daily, I’ll consume (sceptically) everything tech/social media by way of news.yc – so I know my quora’s from my zynga’s. I have for your viewing pleasure a few of my experiments with web design, web audio and presenting old media online.
